BIOGRAPHY
A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Master in Physics, and a largely self-taught software engineer, Sergey joined Topcoder as a data science and software development competitor to get new experience, learn new technologies, and to make an extra buck. In the following years he found himself a full time competitor, a copilot of software development and data science projects, twice a winner of the Topcoder Open tournament in development track, and one of the MVP members. Today he carries on as an active Topcoder community member, participating in different roles in projects interesting to him.
In his free time Sergey enjoys traveling and photography, snowboarding and windsurfing, learning history, and exploring the world.
